Is the tuition rate of $245 per credit hour for non-resident students? I live in Nevada. I would need to take classes through the online distance program and money is a factor for me. I have my Associates Degree already. Thanks.
The tuition cost for courses in the online Criminology and Criminal Justice Program are the same no matter where you live. Contact an Enrollment Advisor at 866-225-7127 for more information.
What is the recreation fee for? Is it $245 plus $35 plus $41?
All PSU students pay the $41 recreation fee. This is only charged 1 time per quarter. It is not multiplied by the number of credits you are taking.
Is this available for international students at all? I have a friend would be interested.
Yes, we have several international students currently in our program.
Good Day
I am from South Africa and am planning to apply in the near future. I just have one concern. Will the tuiton fee given to me, stay the same or will it change with inflation daily?
Gladly hear from you
The tuition can change, however it is not adjusted every day. Students are given advance notice of any changes.
I am a corrections Officer right now. I would like to learn more of other fields such as criminal investergators.

Is 2-3 credits per term considered full-time?
Are classes offered year around?
At a rate of taking 2 classes per term vs. 3 classes per term, how long would the program take to complete assuming you have 86 credits?
Laura,
Most courses in the CCJO program are 4 credits each. 12 credits is considered full time (usually 3 courses). You have to take a minimum of 6 credits to be eligible for financial aid. How long it will take you to finish will depend on how many credits you transfer into the program and how many credits you take per term. If you contact one of our enrollment advisors they will be happy to evaluate your transcripts. You can contact and enrollment advisor at 866-225-7127.
