COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
To participate in Portland State’s distance learning Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice program you will need a computer system with current specifications. Below are recommended computer and networking specifications for your system as you work in the CCJ Online learning environment. Review the checklist and download new web browsers, if neccessary, at the bottom of this page. Acquire the productivity software as soon as possible.

- 1.0 GHZ Pentium IV Processor computer
- 512 MB RAM
- 4 GB free hard drive space
- 4x DVD-R/CD-R/RW drive; (NOTE: DVD media may be included in future course materials, which will be shipped to you by postal mail).
- Broadband Internet Access (Cable Modem, DSL, or other high-speed network)
- 19" SVGA Monitor
