Dr. Lindberg earned her Ph.D. in Urban Studies in 1996 from Portland State University’s School of Urban and Public Affairs, with concentrations in Policy Analysis and Urban Social Patterns and Human Development. She joined the Criminology and Criminal Justice online program in the fall of 2006 after having taught at Radford University, part of the Virginia Higher Education system. Her practical experience includes eight years working in corrections in a variety of capacities and more than twenty years in public school settings with youths, at risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system.
